    Mission Statement

     

    Union Christian School은 양질의 학업 프로그램과 다양한 학습 활동들을 통해 마음과 정신을 훈련하고 진정한 기독교인의 성품을 개발하며 학생들의 영적 삶을 풍요롭게 하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 성경적 삶의 세계관을 갖춘 세대를 키우는 것이 목적입니다.

    Union Christian School aims to train hearts and minds, develop genuine Christian character, and enrich the spiritual lives of its students through qualified academic programs and extra-curricular activities. Its purpose is to raise a generation fully equipped with a Biblical worldview of life.

     For the spiritual growth of the student, the school aims:

    1. To teach the Bible and its centrality in life.

    2. To lead the student to have a personal relationship with Christ as Lord and Savior.

    3. To encourage the student to know and do the will of God.

    4. To lead the student to daily and consistently walk with God.

    5. To teach the student to be confident in sharing the gospel.

    6. To foster self-discipline based upon godly fear and reverence.

     For the student's personal and social development, the school aims:

    1. To develop a balanced personality based on a proper understanding and acceptance of himself or herself as being made after God’s own image.

    2. To foster the student to exercise the Christian concept of love.

    3. To show a realistic and Biblical view of life and labor.

    4. To promote fitness, maintenance, and skillful treatment of the body as the temple of God.

    5. To impart the Biblical attitude toward material things and promote the wise use of them for the glory of God.

    Academically, the school strives:

    1. To promote high academic standards and to help the student gain a thorough comprehension and command of the fundamental processes used in intellectual activities.

    2. To teach the students to formulate good study habits and research methods.

    3. To develop creative and critical thinking and the proper use of Biblical criteria for evaluation.

    4. To promote good citizenship through developing an understanding and appreciation of our Christian heritage and properly guided patriotism.

    5. To impart knowledge of the world and current affairs and relate them to God's plan for man.

    Working with the home from which the student comes, the school seeks:

    1. To cooperate closely with the parents in every phase of the student's development.

    2. To help the parents to understand the school's philosophy, purpose, and program.

    3. To aid families in making their homes God-centered.

    6. 경건한 두려움과 경외심을 바탕으로 스스로를 훈련하도록 양육합니다.

    학생의 자기개발과 사회성을 기르기 위해 학교는 다음을 목표로 합니다.

    2. 기독교적 사랑의 개념을 실천할 수 있도록 학생을 양성합니다.

    3. 삶과 일에 대한 현실적이고 성경적인 관점을 보여줍니다.

    4. 하나님의 성전으로서 몸의 건강, 유지 및 숙련된 관리를 가르칩니다.

    5. 물질에 대한 성경적 태도를 부여하고 하나님의 영광을 위해 물질을 현명하게 사용하도록 가르칩니다.

    1. 높은 학업 수준을 진보하고 학생이 지적 활동에 사용되는 기본 과정들에 대해 철저히 이해하고 내용을 습득하도록 돕습니다.

    2. 학생들에게 좋은 학습 습관과 공부 방법을 체계화하도록 가르칩니다.

    3. 창의적이고 비판적인 사고와 평가를 위한 성경적 기준의 적절한 사용을 개발하도록 가르칩니다.

    4. 우리의 기독교 유산에 대한 이해와 인식을 발전시키고 올바른 나라사랑을 통해 훌륭한 시민의식을 증진시킵니다.

    5. 세상과 시사에 대한 지식을 전하고 그것들을 인간을 위한 하나님의 계획과 연관시키며 가르칩니다.

    1. 학생의 발달의 모든 단계에서 학부모와 긴밀히 협력합니다.

    2. 학부모가 학교의 철학, 목적 및 프로그램을 이해하도록 돕습니다.

    3. 가정을 하나님 중심으로 만들도록 돕습니다.
